ABOUT

I am an urban planner and visual designer with experience in graphic design, community engagement, and visual-storytelling. I also have a background in wildlife and natural resource conservation and am passionate about preserving wild places. Fueled by this passion, I traveled to Iceland as part of a research group to study the impacts of tourism and development on wildlife. Now, I am working to apply these skills to designing public spaces focused on equitable access and connection. It’s these connections, with both nature and our communities, that create the spaces we all enjoy.

Hey there! I'm Jesse...

I especially enjoy creating visuals that help to communicate complex planning topics and help people connect with the process. One of my great passions in this field is also placemaking and branding. I enjoy learning about communities from the people that live in and love these spaces and getting to understand what makes a place truly special. To then take that community vision and craft it into something that highlights and celebrates it is a wonderful experience.
